What are metal shingles?
Metal shingles, also called metallic slates, are small sheet-metal elements, round or rhomboid, laid overlapping, which give a roof or a façade a scale-like texture. BELPROFILE makes them in four models: Rondo, Rombo, Quadra and Quadra PLUS.
Where are metal shingles used?
On roofs and façades. Rondo and Rombo suit curved surfaces, towers, dormers and gables. Quadra and Quadra PLUS, in a large format, suit large surfaces, the renovation of historic buildings and façades.
What is a fish-scale metal roof?
It is the name given to roofs made of round shingles, which look like the scales of a fish. At BELPROFILE the model with round shingles is Rondo; Rombo, Quadra and Quadra PLUS have rhomboid shingles.
What are BELPROFILE metal shingles made of?
Steel of 0.50, 0.55 or 0.60 mm, or aluminium of 0.70 mm, depending on the model and the finish. Quadra PLUS is made of aluminium.
How are metal shingles fixed?
Rondo and Rombo are fixed with screws or nails, with concealed fixings. Quadra and Quadra PLUS are fixed with clips, without drilling the shingles.
What warranty do BELPROFILE metal shingles have?
Up to 40 years, depending on the finish: 40 years for PrinTech, BigStone and for aluminium shingles, and 30 years for Matt, RainDrop and MagneZinc.
How much do metal shingles cost?
